I guess i'm in the minority, but I hated it. The acting was horrid, and it also seemed really campy. My three current shows are "Ray Donovan", "The Strain", and "Boardwalk Empire". This one will not be added to my list.

Salivating. Those are awesome. I just got an Amethyst #1 35'er that's a 9.6 (highest graded) that has no denotation. If you are buying CGC for the information on the label you might be making a mistake. I am just hoping they get a better read on the cover price never mind the contents [/url They are going to make mistakes, nobody is going to be perfect in quality control. That's not the point. I am talking about an upfront change to how they approach appearances. This could still mislabeled, but to just get it wrong on every label because they don't care, well that's not a mistake, and I think they need to work on that. Edit: Nice variants if they are yours! CGC should pay for those to be reslabbed including shipping IMO. That would only be right.

I've always liked #239 more than #238. If not for the cover app. #238 would just be considered a brief app. I'm not shocked that copy got that. It looks pretty slick.

Is that Emma Frost designed by Campbell too? It kind of almost looks like it..

It's slightly weaker than Darkseid's appearance in Jimmy Olsen #134, and that's hard to do....(although i do love the heck out of that Jimmy olsen issue for some reason) Seriously, I don't consider this an appearance.

Yup. she's popped up here and there since that introduction issue. I think with the #110 taking off this one will be hitting a spike soon. There are some relatively cheap copies on ebay at the moment, (like $5-ish + shipping) but i don't see that lasting once people start listing that out as her 1st app.

Not hot on Ebay yet, but i saw a couple of Invincible #44's sell for $10 over the weekend since it's Anissa (of the Viltrumites) 1st appearance. She's pretty terrifying and kind of hot. I could see this one taking off soon. It's a good cover for a 1st app. too.

I guess so on that one. This was in person though, so i'm not even sure what the current going rate on ebay is. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the seller had tried ebay and got it returned to him or something due to it's ugliness, so this one maybe shouldn't count anyway. I've looked at thousands of cgc 9.8's and i honestly think this is the worst i have ever seen. It's like the grader was watching the mid season finale while he was grading it and was like "Walking dead, Helll yeah! 9.8!!!!"

Just figured i would update with a bit of sales data: Sold a #3 cgc 9.8 for $500 today Got $600 for a #19 9.8 a month or so ago Got $200 for a raw NM+ #53 (wha?) but the cgc 9.8 i marked at $300 hasn't gone anywhere. (probably a bit on the high side on that one atm) Also, was offered a #1 cgc 9.8 white at $1500 but turned it down because it was probably the biggest gift 9.8 i have ever seen. Literally 12-15 spine ticks. I would think it was over graded in a 9.4 holder honestly. Otherwise, i would def. pay $1500 for a legit 9.8 black, but i doubt there are many sellers at that point yet. I'm thinking after this season it's a possibility. My 2 pennies.

Did HIM/Warlock live in a cave in Thor #165? Is it really a speedo? Isn't that a brand name, like Jello? So many questions. I think someone should make one of those voting poll things. My opinion is: FF 66,67 cameo Thor #165 1st Full Marvel Premiere #1 when the character was revamped to resemble what he is like today. I don't know anyone that considers Uncanny X-men #256 the first appearance of Psylocke just because she is best known as an asian ninja. It's either Captain Britain #8, or New Mutants annual #2 (depending on how someone considers US or foreign apps). She is literally in a different body in the uncanny issue, but that doesn't make her a different character. Just because him/warlock doesn't have some of the things that have become staples of the character in Thor #165 doesn't make that issue any less of a 1st full appearance. It's not like every distinguishing feature of a character is always in play in their 1st appearance. That doesn't change the fact that the character had a full appearance in a particular issue.
