  1. Oh, and you wanna hear glass REEEEAAAALY empty? I've signed and drawn zombies on like 20 of these and gave them away several years back as a joke because i had a letter printed at the end of the letter's column. Every time i get an expensive older book that has writing in it i'm always like "Man, Some Dumb kid really went to town on this one!" Now, i'm the dumb kid. With 20 or so of these floating around it's only a matter of time before one pops up to remind me of my foolishness.

  2. The Amazing Spider-man #583 obama variant still gets good money. Some are only ending at $60 or so, but there are several that have gotten $100+ recently. I just recently got a couple and was shocked that they are still getting this much. I would think they would have cooled off by now.

    310183461244 3 at $140 apiece??!!

  3. guy seemed happy to snag it. He made an offer but hit the BIN before i had the chance to respond. I think i'm going to price my next one at $100 so i can keep it for a while.

Oh, FYI...just after we mentioned it yesterday there is a Space Vixen NM on the bay... a little pricey for my tastes but if it truly is NM it would be worth it after slabbing.

And another one sold raw for an amazing amount.

Now watch who submits it for their registry.

  4. +3 i get that every once in a while too. Weak!

Chapel Hill Variant Adventure Time 1 is up to $70 with 1 day left. Kids are even hacking their parents ebay accounts to bid on it.

Dear Sir/Madam, My son went onto my account and put in the bids under my name. Since he is young, he did not know what he was doing when he did so. If you would please remove my bids on this item, it would be extremely appreciated. I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may have cause. Good luck in this auction and thank you in advance. Sincerely, Thomas V

This only happen to me when people regret bidding on an item. Conveniently their account was "hacked"

    +1 Ridiculous excuse. :eyeroll:

    +2

  5. It's the nicest one i've had. It's got a spine ding pretty close to parallel with the chick on the rights tattoo. It's tough to see, but you can barely make it out in the scan. I think easy 9.4 maybe 9.6/ I don't think 9.8 with the little crease and the one slightly soft corner but who knows these days...It's posted currently on my "space vixens" slot on the wall. Def. my favorite Stevens cover.

That's the same board member that sold two others, including a Buy Now that shocked even him. Elijah Snow.

yeah, i was kinda knocked over too lol/ I priced it high so i could keep it for a while. (it's currently on the wall in my comic room.) So.......i think it lasted around 2 months at that price. Luckily i got another one recently. It's not as nice, but i can put it right back on the wall :)

Interesting time to bring up pricey Stevens books, as this just knocked me over.

3-D Zone #16 Space Vixens Rare

Seriously - $70 for this book? I can't believe someone paid that much.

    doh!

Board member Elijah Snow must be shaking his head even since this is his Ebay account.

  6. Yeah. I've sold 6-7 copies of both covers for $10-$15 of the #0 issue. I've read all of it and the art is great, but the story is a little lackluster. Krighton, you're dead on. She needs something. I think the #0 issue will hold steady for a while, but overall it's gonna take some major hype for the rest of the series to really heat up.

  7. I think it has legs. I've loved all of the brubaker/phillips series, and i'm glad this one finally got some hype. It doesn't have a tiiiny print run, but it's not huge either. Combine that with the two covers (people who have to have both gobbling up the print run) and i think this one will stay hot for a while. The first issue was great. Haven't yet read the second.
