  8. Thanks! I dig Doctor Strange as well and I too have, as yet, been unable to justify the loot for Strange Tales #110 when he's not even on the cover. It'll have to be the right copy, the right way.
  9. I have a pic of my 32 but not my 42. I bought this 32 in an original owner collection in the mid 90s. I did have it pressed and graded at a Chicago show sometime in the mid 2000s. I should get a better pic of it at some point. It's really nice in hand.

  14. Ha! I ALMOST typed that! An awesome issue and quite a copy to have! I love the White Mountain books! I think I only have just this one book from that pedigree (sorry, it's not a Spidey).

  17. I realize that this isn't a title that anyone would consider popular or in demand, but Silver Age cover art is largely VERY expensive, so to acquire any at all is a real treat for me. I hope it finds some level of appreciation here.
  18. And a page from Star Ranger Comics #2 from March of 1937. Also a pic from the comic. Artwork by the legendary Creig Flessel.
  19. Here's a page from Star Comics #2 and a pic of what it looked like in the comic.
  20. I really dig these Platinum Age art pages! This page is from Star Comics #1, cover dated Feb 1937. Here's also a pic of what it looked like in the comic book.
  21. This seems the best place here to post this stuff. Not entirely "this week" though. Fun Harvey humor cover from one of the very first popular comic strips!
