Thanks! He did them freehand with a ruler I'd guess for the logo, but not a traced enlargement like some artists did, so they aren't exact replicas. There are some subtle differences.

As with the NAMORA #1 recreation I just posted, this is another recreation that Ken Bald did for me and again, this one likewise still has the paper overlay over the penciled art to protect it.

This is a cover recreation that I commissioned Ken Bald to do a number of years ago. I STILL need to get it framed. It still has a paper overlay on top of the penciled art to protect it in this picture. It looks SO MUCH better without it!!!!! I'll put that on my list of pics to take in the future.

GREAT book and still under valued in my opinion. Of all of the girl sidekicks introduced, NAMORA was featured MUCH more than any other! While SUNGIRL DID have her own 3 issue run, she didn't make very many cover appearances in the Human Torch or Marvel Mystery runs. Golden Girl never even got her own title and made only a handful of Captain America cover appearances. NAMORA was the only one who carried over into the Atlas superhero revival comics. Cap got Bucky back, while the Torch got Toro back. SUPER nice copy you've got here!!!

WoW, there's been some GREAT sketches posted here!!! Thanks so much to all who've shared them!!!! We see the comics all the time, but each sketch is unique, even if they may have similarities in character or pose and I just don't get to see them very often, so thanks again gang!!!!

LOVE both of these but that 46 in particular is one on my want list!!! NOT an easy issue to find!!!! I suspect maybe print run numbers were low on these but don't actually KNOW that. Just harder to find in general.
