  1. It's not acknowledged on the label as "color touch" or anything …. I think it has character
  2. It's been long recognized as the 1st Spidey crossover and WHAT a crossover it is!!!!
  3. Strange Tales annual #2 is the first early Spidey crossover I ever had. Not this exact copy, but this one has a lil something different
  4. I was playing with a few Spideys last night! Posted my AF15 in the appropriate thread too 😉
  5. Thanks Jack! I was walking around Wizard Chicago .... maybe 5 years ago and Gator had that on his wall display for $125 & FPS #2 is kinda scarce so I couldn't resist. It's got tape and the cover is a bit wavy but ya seldom even see it, so it'll do until (if) a nicer one comes along 🌝
  6. Finally got around to snapping a pic. Not a "great" pic, but it's a pic 😉
  7. Exactly my sentiments! Just dug my copy out & snapped a pic 🖒
  8. AWESOME contributions!!! Yeah, the missing book pics are a shame. I guess we'll just have to fill it up with current pics Once again, killer Detectives!!!
  9. Thanks KirbyJack! It's my favorite too!!! I have a few raw copies to thumb up, so I'll leave this one where it is for now.
  10. Here's one that I was thrilled to get! I know most here don't like books with restoration, but this would've cost 4-5 times as much as it did if the label was blue. It's staying in there, so I get the same appearance with very minor work for a bargain.
  11. I have always dug this title! I enjoy all areas of it, pre hero, Antman, Antman w/ Wasp, Giantman, Subby & Hulk ... so much variety in one title. It would seem that in the beginning of the hero issues that this title didn't get as much attention as some of the others, but I like it because it IS different. Those early books (27, 35-42) are some that I particularly enjoy! I love the round 10 & 12 cent cover price & the mix of hero and pre-heroish stories. I am doing my best to take advantage of the fact that they are still very affordable.
  12. Krazy Komics #3 CGC 6.0 Universal. Label states: ow pages. SOLD The back cover sports an ad for Kid Komics that doesn't quite materialize in that it shows a Victory Boys appearance (U.S.A #5 cover feature) that never appears in any Kid Komics issue. Rare character appearance and only place I've ever seen this ad.
  13. Comedy Comics #15 CGC 7.0 Universal. Label states: ow/w pages. SOLD This is the 2nd appearance of Super Rabbit & a very under valued and difficult to find comic book, especially in nice condition.
