  1. Ok, I wasn't planning on selling this, but a pal suggested I add it to my sales thread (knowing I am looking at buying a bigger book), which has me unprepared without a back cover pic (I can take one tonight). There are only 2 graded higher, the 9.4 Church & a 9.2, then this lone 7.0. $2750 would wrestle it away from me.
  2. I purchased this Planet #58 from our own Mr Bedrock 4 years ago as a 6.5 for $250. So, how about $275 to help with PP costs & whatnot. SOLD
  3. Ok I grade this Rangers #26 a FAIR as the covers are completely split & detached. There are multiple tears & some longer ones on the back cover. This book is a PERFECT candidate for some archival tape. Also several miscellaneous pieces of the bottom back cover. The interior is fine & loaded with GGA. This is low grade but hard to find so cheap. $165 I will break out my scanner & get scans if these don't sell in the next day or 2. SOLD
  4. Ok, so a boardie collector asked about some specific books, which I had planned to list up here when I could dig out a scanner, grade & price them …. annnd so as to not keep him waiting, I snapped some pics with my phone. He passed as he was looking for upgrades, SO …. sitting here at work (books aren't in front of me) I figured what the heck, I can list them here.
  5. Thanks pal ? I always figure these early books to not get much love in the hobby but you've managed to make me rethink that a little
  6. Right?!?!? I think I'll be happy to even BE here at 82, plastic case or not!
  7. Got this be back from CGC about a month ago and it looks SO much nicer in the new holder (even in this less-than-awesome phone pic), as I owned this back in 2000 or 2001 and it was still in its 1st gen holder! Crisp, fresh 82 year old copy ?
  8. This came in yesterday and it fits well with my other Detectives as it has white pages and looks better than the grade.
  9. Well since I've had a few sales threads, I guess I should have one of these too. Thank you in advance to the boardies I've done deals with.
  10. Ok, one more tonight. Jungle #138 6.0 ow/w. GREAT bondage cover. $170 Had trouble getting a good pic, so here are a few not-so-good pics SOLD
  11. Fighting Yank #11 4.5 ow pages. This cover has a LOT going for it & this issue still sells cheap. $450 Sold
  12. Shock SuspenStories #6 4.0 c/ow pages. A copy in the same grade, with the same pq JUST sold for $580. So, I guess $600 sounds about right. SOLD
  13. El Caballo Del Diablo #525 4.0 ow/w pages. This is the only copy on the census & the only copy I can find ANYWHERE since I knew of it's existence. It's the craziest cover that nobody knows about, until now. Decapitation/Good girl??? Think Fight 31 & Blue Beetle 52 …. I guess. Be the only kid on your block (or in the known world) to have this book!!! I just certified this, I didn't press it, as you can see there is a wave in the logo that might be improvable. I'll leave that up to it's next owner. $3500
  14. It's been a while since I've done a sales thread, so here goes. 1st in the thread wins. I'll look at PMs once I'm done listing. $15 boxed priority US shipping for certified books, $10 for raw books. Paypal, money orders or checks if I know ya. Quick payment is appreciated. No returns on certified books. 7 day return privilege on raw books, return postage at your cost.
  15. WOW, what a tremendous improvement!!! Congratulations!!!
  16. Sweet book Steve!!! I like pre hero DC books!!! Maybe someone should start a thread ….
