  1. Sorry Julio, it sounds like you have a plan and thats cool. Do you guys wonder if Jeremy ever submits his best copies himself? If not he should because he could make $1,000's of dollars much faster than he does selling these books for $5.00 at cons. I guess now that its caught on he is mostly doing sketches and signings though and doesn't sell them like he did in that older pic. Anyway, this seems like a cool series and I can't wait for a trade.
  2. Nope. Yup! How is it I have 10 copies in my shopping cart, then? No idea, contact them and ask? I guess based on that knowledge I would tell everyone to order them up and see what happens. Maybe some will sneak through? Just to clear this up for everyone, here is a screenshot of a reply email I received today: Got it? If you want Ye Old Lore of Yore, buy it from Comixpress for $3. http://www.comixpress.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=0&products_id=223 You WILL receive your copy. Don't fret that you have to be lucky that yours will "sneak through." So this book is still available to buy at $3, on demand, but members are selling it here in the marketplace to other members at marked up prices?
  3. Thanks Phil! Great working with you again, as usual! Bests, John
  4. Gahhh, everyone is in except me....
  5. I don't own a Fables 1 but perhaps it is a common defect related to printing?
  6. Great book. Great cover. Very sig worthy! That looks like a great copy!!! I agree, don't spoil it with a sig. Well, I didn't have anything cool for Wrightson to sign in Baltimore last year and was thinking of having him sign this one and submit it. I am not a huge sig collector but was thinking of having a nice sig from some classic artists would be cool.
  7. Great book! I think Redfury might have a 32, it was lower grade maybe VG-
  8. WTTB Jerome, that is a sweet copy! Great sig placement by Stan also.
  9. I would say so, yes. The problem with this scenario is that the buyer has the ability to correct the situation and thus be removed from the probation list. By actually moving forward and buying said book. In this situation the seller would have to make the situation right. How would he or she go about doing that? Offer the buyer a monetary recompense? Buy the book back from the actual person that bought the book from under Matt? Pretty easy to resolve the first - not so for the second. I think it would be the first most likely but the second if it is possible would work also. It is the same if you get added to the list for not following through on a buy. If you want to get off the list the seller may not have the books, then what? I believe I have seen that offering some compensation has worked in the past. Basically it's up to the seller that elected the buyer to the list. The seller will let the community know once the buyer has fulfilled their obligation (whatever that might be in the seller's eyes) and the buyer comes off the list. I just don't think it's as clear cut when the seller causes issue - perhaps it should be. I think that's one reason these cases are raised here in General so that others can decide on their own about doing business with that party. Right, I am not saying to add this seller to the list. Matt would have to request that. From what he has said so far all Matt wants is an explanation. I was just answering the question posed by 1coolengineer.

  11. So the seller got your money (down payment) on the 11th and sold the book again on the 18th (according to the new owner) and didn't even refund your money until yesterday??? Wow...
  12. Kudos to Dudeman5000 for some great books delivered in a bombproof package!!!
  13. I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't want to say anything. Thanks for throwing it out there for me! This still doesn't take the fault of taking that new deal off the seller even if this is the way it went down.
  14. Treys thread yesterday was more, but this one is doing well. (thumbs u
  15. I do have a feeling I know who the seller is and if I am right would be quite surprised he would have done this.
  16. I don't doubt the story but are you positive that you can tell the exact same book from a small sig image? It does seem convenient though that Bat-man removed his tec 37's so recently.
  17. He had it 30 minutes ago, now it's gone. I know that book, before people go jumping to conclusions on who the seller was....that book traded hands between board members. did'nt he have 2 copies in his sig..? He did, yes.
  18. Bat-Man had a Tec 37 in his sig earlier this week...
