  1. Is rarity (and the Action 1 ad) really that critical when determining value on these two that closed tonight:

    New Adventure Comics #18, CGC Universal 3.5 = $638

    New Adventure Comics #26, CGC Universal 1.0 = $7,956

That and the fact that NA 26 is one of the most highly sought after covers by Flessel.

one of MY biggest regrets was selling the NA26 8.0SP copy (2 twice :shy: )

so i HAD to win this!

So is this really THE toughest DC book?

  3. One of the dumbest moves I made in this hobby the last few years was selling off my nice mid-grade NA 18. So tonight, I followed sound advice to MAN-UP. Seriously. My bid was at double Overstreet. Thankfully, it didn't get anywhere near that.

that was my old na18 and i am very disappointed it didnt get anywhere near double guide

im glad it went to you though!

  4. please explain to me how the actions in heritages auction were all "cheap" or under valued?

everything in the auction,i felt, was running high. certainly for me..and i can afford some of them.

    who said they were "cheap"?

speaking soley for the action comics #1-14 i personally thought the prices realised were "resonable". not strong at all.

    just my 2c

  5. yes, i thought so too.

i actually though all the prices of the early action comics in the heritage auction were 'reasonable'...

Prices were down this auction. A good omen for us poorer collectors hopefully.

2nd time you got a Action 2 Ben, Keep this one. Its one of O'Mealia's best covers.

by my count, it is at least his 6th action 2 lol

    :shy:

Good news is when I think Action 2 I think you

that statement right there sir was on my 'to do before i die' list.
