They didn't send you a email either? A shipping acknowledgement?

This just happened to me too. The website only says shipped, and it wasn't until today that UPS itself sent me an email saying I had a package for delivery, and thats ONLY because I signed up for their UPS tracking service a while ago. CGC itself didn't send me anything.

Small Update on Mechanical error submission for future reference. Seems these actually are pretty quick.

    Mechanical Error Submission: 1 slab
Submitted at CGC's booth at MTG Convention: 11/20/21
    Received: 12/1/21
    Status: Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging

So update on this. I just received this back. Originally this slab was set to have subgrades. It graded an 8.5, but they forgot the subgrades so I sent it in as mechanical error after emailing with Customer Service a few times. I was told to include it was verified by so and so and that it was missing subs on the packing slip. Submitted this at a convention so, no shipping fee at least.

Now I just got it back and... absolutely nothing was done to it! It came back as an 8.5 WITHOUT subgrades, exactly the same as when I sent it. Nothing on the slip says anything about what was done to it, nor does the website. This is ridiculous. What am I supposed to do now? Send it in again for a third time? I'm not one to ping but maybe @PaulS. might have some insight on how or why this happened again.

Yeah, I called them today, and it turns out they did ship it a while ago, but for whatever reason it failed to deliver (no idea why, since it's the same address as my last submission, which was delivered just fine) and got sent back to them. Funny enough it just arrived back there today, so they're going to ship it out again. Hopefully it actually gets to me this time... Still no idea why the status didn't update until sometime in this past week though.

You should've received an email about the shipment too.

    Tcg economy

    delivered 11/22/2021

    grading/quality control 11/23/2021

i dont know if this is abnormal or not but does this mean it’s already been graded in a day or there is a payment issue?

That does seem to be going fast. You'll be charged soon or you can call to have them charge you. Curious that you were in G/E/I for a single day. Makes me wonder if they're completely caught up on economy orders so its going faster now? That's pretty interesting. Still, my order was in G/QC for a few days before going into finalized.

One of my shipped finished bulk subs (shipped 11/03) is still stuck at the USPS an hour away. I've called them to just tell them I can come grab it but they said no. Getting a bit ridiculous now. It just keeps updating the tracking with 'Departed from xxxx facility. It is in transit to the destination'.

But its the same place. just being updated over and over with a different time.

its over 300 graded cards... so not sure what the hell is going on, or when I contact cgc about it. I know its not on them but I think that still falls under declared value...

I think this is probably an issue with Registered Mail, since that's how its shipped from CGC. I had something a bit similar happen but it was delivered on time, just later in the day. But if its been at that USPS for days yea I'd be concerned.

Edit: Also, bit unique situation but I submitted a new bulk order to CGC directly at their booth at the Magic the Gathering Convention in Las Vegas this past Saturday. I'll update once the submission is received by CGC on the website, as I'm not sure how long it'll take compared to shipping it directly to Sarasota FL. Kinda concerned too since there's no tracking for it or proof of receipt. I guess I'll just have to believe everything is fine for now.

The payment was deducted from my bank on 9-27, been sitting in grading status since. I am just not sure how they take payment and then 45 days later it is not compete... obviously they where not ready to be graded yet. Received 4/3 they took payment 9/27, no updates since.

My order was in G/E/I for over 5 weeks, but was only in QC for less than 2 days. If by grading you meant G/E/I, then that's kinda normal. If you meant Grading/Quality Control then I would call and check.

4/30 bulk sub still in g/e/i... yet others' bulk from 4/30 is in QC/Finalized. :( Cmon CGC

That's really weird cause mine just shipped, and its from 4/30. But I gotta say once it got into grading it was done in pretty much a single day. I'd say maybe in a few days you should see it move.

Which brings me to my final update.

    Bulk: 62 cards, no subgrades
    Received: 4/30/21
    Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging: 9/30/21
    Quality Control/Finalized: 11/4/21
Grading/Quality Control: 11/5/21 (Went back to G/QC briefly)
    Shipped: 11/5/21

Another Update, seems to be moving faster than I expected.

The last two submissions I've done payments came out a day or two after the submissions went into the grading stage.

CGC might contact you if they have an issue pulling the money or they might send your submission back without Grading not 100% sure.

You might want to call them and express your concerns regarding this matter is the best thing I can suggest... good luck

Oh ok. So you got charged during the actual grading stage and not during the scheduled for grading part then? And yea I may need to call them.
