  1. And the grade is in! I sent the book in tho CGC for pressing and regrading. The did a great job taking away most of the dirt marks and creases. I’m very happy with a jump from 6.5 to 8.0
  2. Hi everyone. I had my Giant Size X-men 1 graded in 2015. At that time I did not know about C&P or they weren’t doing it yet. I think the grading criteria had changed a bit since then. Attached is the CGC grade and notes and pictures of the book. Could you please look at them and let me know if I would benefit from sending it back in to CGC for a pressing and regrading. What do you think the new grade could be. Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. Hi everyone. I'm thinking of sending this in to CGC for C&P and grading. To me it looks like a 7-7.5 and maybe can pull an 8 after pressing. What do you think?? Thanks!!! FYI, I sent in 8 comics to CGC under the modern category with no fast track. I mailed it our January 4th and am getting it back today. Things have sure changed. The last books I sent that way took 10 months.
  4. Looks like a great book. 9.6 or 9.8. I keep seeing posts about how CGC is hard on this book. I sent in 2 of them 6 months apart both came back a 9.8
  5. I’d say 9.0 or 9.2. I had an 8.5 copy of this book which did not look as nice as yours. It will look even nicer after CnP
  6. I recently got back my X-men 94 from CGC and it looks very much like yours. It was graded a 5.5
  7. I’m not yet that good at grading. I just thought it would be of interest, I have 2 copies of this and one of them has the same rough edge on the top of the back cover. It must be a production flaw. I just sent it to CGC for pressing and grading. Do they take into account that this is a production flaw rather than damage while grading?
  8. I think they are holes. Never realized it until I took the pictures. How does that affect the grading?
  9. This is the oldest book in my collection and am going to send it to be graded. What do you think?
  10. I'm an new member of CGC and will be sending in a few of my good comics to get graded. This is one of the first comics I bought as a child from the local convenience store off of the metal spin rack. As you can see it has some wear to it and quite a few wrinkles on the cover which may not be visible in the pictures. What do you feel the grade is as is stands and is it worth getting it pressed by CCS and then graded. Thanks for your advice. I look forward to seeing your replies.
