  1. Just posted the latest addition to my vintage Thundra collection on CAF. FANTASTIC FOUR 148 pg 23 by Rich Buckler & Joe Sinnott https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1796158 So, so happy... 😭
  2. Been a long while since I last visited here. Acquired one of my long-awaited grails: FEMFORCE #5 cover by Bill Black and Bill Anderson. From 1985. You can read a bit more about this at https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1789892
  3. Harley & Ivy 2 Page 12 (2005) by Bruce Timm & Shane Glines One of the very few enlarged (11x17) pages inked for the mini. Glines mentioned that Timm inked some of the backgrounds. I wish I could get the matching 8.5x11 blue-pencilled original but the owner isn't willing to let it go...yet. https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1352477

  6. Oh! All of this had to happen during my temporary semi-retirement... So Herb did get them back after all...okay, that's good to know they did indeed survive. Thanks for letting me know, Chuck!
  7. Does anyone know where, or recall ever seeing, ANY of the G.I.Joe: Order of Battle character pin-ups by Herb Trimpe? The series was just like Official Handbook of Marvel Universe. Herb told me he hadn't gotten back any of them pin-ups. Just the covers. Any info would be much appreciated...I'd love to own any!
  8. Turning 45 later this year. Started buying original art in late 90s but only for my Batman: The Animated Series collection of all sorts. Eventually decided to expand OA collecting a few years later. Semi-retired a few years ago but a recent acquisition brought me back to active status. And, by the way, a few of you know me as Frosty. CGC had me re-register my old account but now under a new public name (it's "Frost" in katakana).
  9. For those who don't read comicart-l, I just got this in mail today. A nice inkwashed Pussycat page by Jim Mooney from 1972. NSFW. Enjoy! Pussycat "Bullets, Boobs and Broads" Page 2 (1972)
  10. This Daredevil vs Bullseye page by Kieron Dwyer just came in today's mail...check it out if you give a damn. Daredevil 290 Page 16 Original Artwork Been a good while since I last bought any artwork. I think I'll be busy this year.
  11. Got this fun catfight page in today's mail...enjoy! Avengers 305 Page 6 (Tigra vs Hellcat)
  12. I just received and scanned my second Conan daily today and it's even nicer than the first one...check it out: Conan the Barbarian Daily 02-19-80
  13. From Wikipedia: "The Marvel Conan stories were also adapted as a newspaper comic strip which appeared daily and Sunday from 4 September 1978 to 12 April 1981. Originally written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by John Buscema, the strip was continued by several different Marvel artists and writers." (Link)
  14. Picked up a nice Conan the Barbarian strip from 1980...featuring Red Sonja in every panel. I dig tough chicks... Conan the Barbarian Daily 02-26-80
