A newbie asked why we didn't do signings with Todd during the time the signings were opened up. And the answer is.. we did do signings with Todd, but we just didn't advertise it out in the open. But our existing customers continued to be able to get their books signed by Todd through us. The last several years, many of our more popular signings were not advertised because our existing customer base took up all of the signing slots. But we still got books signed quietly. I hope that helps the newbie understand being he is still learning the ropes. Desert Wind has been servicing customers for 10 years now and continues to provide great signing opportunities to collectors and customers alike.

Mr. Kaluta will be signing for fans during the Legends Tour for the first time. His last public signing took place back in 2011. So this is a HUGE signing opportunity. Known for his early work at DC Comics with Denny O'Neil on the Shadow. Mr. Kaluta then proceeded to skyrocket his career working on comics, pulp magazines, book illustrations as well as record album covers. His unique style was creating the buzz that everyone wanted. In 1976, teaming up with Bernie Wrightson, Jeffrey Jones and Barry Windsor-Smith, they created "The Studio" in Manhattan's Chelsea district. It was during this time they earned the name in the comic book industry of "The Fab Four". We at Desert Wind are extremely excited to include Mr. Kaluta as part of the Legends In the Fall Tour. To be accurate, Desert Wind originally handled the McFarlane signings exclusively when the signings first started back in 2010. After several years there was a change and the signings opened up to include others including NYComics, but NYComics were never exclusive. And this year Desert Wind has once again come back the help customers get their books signed as part of the McFarlane signings. I hope that clarifies the issue.
