    Legends in the comic book industry are easier to come by these days but there are still a few that don't make public appearances. John Romita Sr is one such legend. Desert Wind has been very blessed and fortunate to have a wonderful relationship with the Romita family and we have been once again given permission to visit and get customers books signed. So don't let this chance go by. With the passing of Steve Ditko, John is now the oldest living Spider-Man artist and you don't want to miss this opportunity. JOHN CHARGES A $30 SIGNING FEE for every book or item he signs. If you plan to have your comic graded by CGC then refer to the Legends pricing group in the Price Tab on our website. The MAIL-IN SUBMISSION DEADLINE is Friday, August 10th and the Celestial Comics in-store submission deadline is Tuesday, August 14th. We will be accepting drop-off submissions at TerrifiCon.     Legendary artist John Romita Jr will be appearing at Desert Wind’s Celestial Comics to meet and sign for fans on Sunday, July 15th. The signing will begin at 2:00 pm. The signing will be at Celestial Comics9440 W. Sahara AveSuite 170Las Vegas, Nevada 89117 THIS IS ONLY HIS SECOND PUBLIC SIGNING THIS YEAR SO DONT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY! Fans are encouraged to dig deep through their comic collections and bring everything you have that has been worked on by this comicbook legends. And believe me when I say he has worked on a TON of titles and issues. Spending most of his career at Marvel and working on almost EVERY major title and more. John has drawn more Marvel characters then most artist of his time. And now being at DC and he has already drawn some of the biggest characters in the DC Universe including Superman and Batman. And creating creator owned characters such as Kick-, there isn’t much John hasn’t done in this industry. You will not run out of stuff to get signed. For those unable to attend, don’t despair, you can still mail your submissions in to get them signed. Our normal signing prices apply and for those that want CGC grading please refer to the Celestial Comics website for pricing details.     Mail-in submission deadline for Legends Tour is this weekend. And we have added Stan Lee to the Legends Tour. Books just for Stan have a submission deadline of May 4th. We will be accepting drop off submissions at East Coast Comic Con for Legends.

And getting books signed that are eligible for CGC Signature Series Grading is becoming more difficult. The exact date of this signing has not been determined BUT it WILL take place in May. This is NOT a convention signing. Desert Wind has been authorized to announce accepting books and will accept books up to the submission deadline, so submit now so you don't get caught by surprise and miss the signing. The price to get a book signed and CGC graded is $165.00 for a modern tier. That price includes grading of a modern tier book, our witnessing and handling fee and Stan’s signing fee. It does NOT include return shipping or the CGC $5.00 form fee. Please refer to the Celestial-comics.com website for other grading tiers and costs such as shipping and fast track fees. You must fill out a Celestial-Comics submission form found on our website to submit with any books submitted. There is NO limitations to the number of books submitted. If you wish to submit under your own CGC please contact Sharon. Books for these signings can get additional signatures on them depending on shows and other private signings that take place.     As many of you know, Todd McFarlane has very strict rules about getting books signed and graded by CGC. He only does two CGC signings a year, once in the late spring/summer and once in the early winter. The exact dates of these signings are not announced until we get much closer to the signing date due to Todd's hectic schedule. So we simply announce accepting books early and will accept books up to the point when the signing is two weeks away, so submit early so you don't get caught by surprise and miss the signings. The price to get a modern tier book signed and graded is $95.00. That price includes grading of a modern tier book, our witnessing and handling fee and Todd's signing fee. It does NOT include return shipping or the CGC $5.00 form fee. Please refer to the Celestial-comics.com website for other costs such as shipping and fast track fees. You must fill out a Celestial-Comics submission form found on our website to submit with any books submitted. There is NO limitations to the number of books submitted. Books for these signings can get additional signatures on them depending on shows and other private signings that take place.
