  1. The error card is graded separately from the other cards that aren't designated error. So you pay $5 because it is (or you think) an error, then you pay a separate shipping charge.
  2. Another reason to never use a "credit card" linked to your bank account balance. Also keep in mind that the $150 does not cover shipping.
  3. ...... Thump...... picking myself off the floor..... NO!
  4. If you’re talking about the SR41, then you should be submitting it to PSA for $300 unless you think it will grade under a 7! A 10 just went for $28k no 2021 sales except for the one I mentioned.
  5. It probably has to do with the front AND the back, as usually there is more forgiveness for the back centering on a 9.5.
  6. They do, either when you submit the card the first time, or you re-sub the card again. If you are thinking that there will be a way to just pay $10 after the fact to have them added, you'd be dreaming. You need to pay them for their time.
  7. Hope you got subgrades on those nice cards..... Not sure if you can get CGC 10's without subgrades. But also, as far as grading standard between PSA and CGC, in theory your 9.5 are PSA 10's... Getting a CGC 10 would be like a PSA 10.5, which they don't do. A CGC 10 is very hard to get. It's not gem mint, it's prestine mint.
  8. Yeah, I can see why you think you got hosed, looks like a 9 centering at first. But when you look closer you can def see that it is tilted/slanted/rotated on the back a little and for that I think is why you got an extra .5 deduction. For sure not deserving of a Gem Mint status.
  9. That discount is gone, all crossovers are the same price as raw card grading prices.
  10. You aren't "recasing", you are basically resubmitting as the card has to be graded again to get the subgrades. Thus why it's called a re-grade, but that isn't an actual option. You just enter it like it's a raw card and they will crack it out when they get it.
  11. That is correct... Economy and Bulk go to the back of the line!! They only open your package sooner if you pay for at least one card at a higher price level than the cheapest.
  12. Ok Gumshoes, find the ink on this card!! I got it off an ebay seller, was actually a make-good on a purchase, so can't complain, but I don't see any ink in-person or in the pics that CGC posted.. https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/3836220003/ Not like it's like this Charizard example that CGC posted.... https://www.facebook.com/103708007803637/posts/sometimes-people-try-to-make-cards-look-better-than-they-are-this-1st-edition-ch/227930725381364/
  13. Looks like someone closed the door on it. Just a simple half crease per se, didn't go far enough to cause a crease wrinkle.
  14. Not just that, it was double bumped, from Bulk to Standard, skipping economy! They are saying that each card is worth over $500 each! Must all be perfect 10's!! However I still can't recreate the $1700+ difference even if there was no 10% discount. At 70 cards, that's over $24 upcharge per card..
  15. That's not exactly accurate.... When your box is finally opened, your cards will be fast-tracked and take only a few weeks to get back to you graded. Everyone else with bulk and economy will still be waiting months to get the cards back after the box is opened. When you select express tier, you not only get to jump the grading line (well except for those choosing walk-thru), you get to jump the box opening line too. However, to jump the box opening line you HAVE TO write EX on the outside of the box, and this is stated on the https://www.cgccomics.com/services/shipping-your-trading-cards/ page. Not sure how you missed it (item #7) as you had to view this page in order to know what shipping address to use to send your cards to. There's a saying that "ignorance of the law is not an excuse", so more or less the same thing here. You can't be bitter at CGC for your own doing! So you aren't getting a "double skip", but you will still move faster than the cheapies!
  16. How would you like them to rectify it for you? They have hundreds (thousands?) of packages sitting in piles, how they gonna find yours?
  17. That's a funny looking Pokemon card.... Or is that Magic the Gathering?
  18. Pretty sure it is standardized, and maybe even BGS is the same way, but when the two lowest grades match, that IS the grade. Think about it... imagine if you had a card that was creased all over and the edges were jacked up. But the card had perfect centering and somehow perfect corners, so you have 2 -10's and 2 -1's. The card doesn't get a 5, it gets a 1. The double negative per se overrules any bump. And of course it's usually a rule that there can only be a 1 grade max bump from the lowest grade, so it could be 2 and not a 5, but again the double grade overrules.
  19. How come when you enter a character with a Japanese language into the submission form, you don't get a number option for 1990's pokemon that have the 3digit number only. The only options are unnumbered orall the later versions with xxx/xxx style numbering. The 3digit number is never listed. Is it to force you to use the pull down to identify the set since the 3digit number and character name is usually the same in multiple editions?
  20. You should be asking this in the Ask CGC forum..... I would hope you include a note if you have more, and a note if you have less.
  21. If you knew what you were getting today, you could have entered them before you got them, unless you didn't know ahead of time the condition.
