    A press will not bring back any color loss to the book. It will smooth out some wrinkles but not completely remove deep creases and bends. A press will not remove stains. A press usually is best for books with non-color breaking creases.

    This is the oldest book in my collection. Bought it used in an comic book store now long gone and forgotten back in the mid 1980s. Staples are tight. The worst damage are the large diagonal crease top right on the front and the small diagonal crease on the bottom right.

    I'm still going to get it graded. I've seen 9.8's of this book with 1 or 2 tics on the back so maybe there's a special allowance for this specific book.

    No problems on the front. The back has at least 10 tiny color breaking spine tics but zero creases. That darn black in that Frogger ad is the worst when it comes to color breaks.

    7.0 at best. Looks like the liquid hit the back cover and some of the inside pages. Reminds me of when I found my issue of Omega Man 3 crumpled and crushed in a short box in the garage without a backing board.

    Submitted for grading. 3 flaws. When they cut the top of the book it left a tiny tear at the top and a chip off the back. There is a smudge by the staple on the back.

    Not even close, my friend. Look at the spine creases on the front cover and the soiling on the back. Yup. Missed the soiling. 8.5 / 9.0.

    Amazing clean and press! The white areas are dramatically brighter. Congrats on having such a major key issue in at an 8.5!
