No way. If you slow down, you stop. If you stop, you die.
Like Jason said, I put that on just about everything with a few exceptions. It gets me lots of messages asking what I want. What I want are offers, and even then I'm pretty unlikely to sell anyway. I have sold exactly one piece in 2024, so I'm pretty much the flipping expert.
I agree, you need to go back to flipping school, these numbers are going in the wrong direction

Well, I wish you luck, Michael. I had a negative situation with Jill Thompson that did ultimately resolve positively but required a fair amount of effort. That was only a 18+ month wait. I think naming names and a buyer beware thread are both good ideas. Not everyone uses Facebook and I noticed the threads on the bigger names or better fan sentiment tend to get locked on the FB group. My own experience and it seems the others mentioned here do have a common element in dealing with the artist directly. Probably speaks to the value of middlemen/reps even though they might seem like a barrier or extra cost at times.

you should just tell us

Looks like about 20 of these went for less than $10.

I should just fight my own battles and not look to wade into other peoples. We all have our own negotiating styles and expectations

yeah the Grummet and Bolton confused me too

Lucky Baru does have your numbers on the point that for as much as you all cluck most of you still use it. At least the Nerdcrawler guy puts up an effort rather than this endless armchair retreading.

Seemed like soft prices to me.
I spend more time in the Morlock tunnels and don't breath the rarified air of 5 figure pages, but wasn't ~$20,000 for a Sandman Issue 1 page pretty low?

Also published Byrne X-Men, albeit Hidden Years, for less than $700?

Paul Ryan FF for less than $400

I asked in the Noob thread a few days ago, but maybe more seasoned collectors don’t look at that anymore.
Is there a broadly trusted online vendor for NM+ condition raw blank comics for SS use?
Are there particular blanks you’ve gotten negative feedback about from artists? I’ve heard some are not great for sketching.
-
Not sure if I'm allowed to ask this question, feel free to delete if not, but where do you guys get your blanks? Is there a preferred or trusted online seller that offers blanks that are in potential 9.6 or 9.8 condition reliably?

I'm only a buyer, I've never sold, but I love ComicLink. If you can't be bothered to be aware of when a piece is coming up for auction I don't think you care too much about that art. Also, I might be mistaken, but isn't the threshold for Heritage like $5,000 in total? There has to be an alternative then for those who want to trim or liquidate their collection and can't reach that total, ComicLink fills that niche, and it's not going to be Nerdcrawler or Connectible anytime soon. There are far less eyes there than ComicLink, I'm quite sure.

This one popped back up today now on Albert Moy's new drop. Asking $2,000. Looks like the flipper is cutting bait and trying to get back some of their initial wager consigning with Albert.

what happened with that DWJ page, did the buyer welch?
-
-
So, I have to ask, what happened? Was it stolen, sent to the wrong collector, did someone mistakenly pick it up?

Yes, this was a normal start to Clink, and people tend to prod up to see where their competitions max tracking bid rests, hence multiple probing bids. Also, wasn't Dunst Mary Jane not Gwen?
