  1. Thanks for the ECs, super fast shipping and great packing job. (thumbs u
  2. Sorry to hear it Wally. I nominated Jeremy to the list, also my first nomination, about a month ago. There are at least three of us without our purchases. That sucks guys, I bought books from the same thread and got them (they took a while to get to me but he answered my PM about them a couple weeks after the sale and he said there was a slight delay but they had been shipped and I got them a few days later.)
  3. Thanks for the purchase and fast payment, hope you enjoy your Conan. (thumbs u
  4. Thank you for the quick payment, hope you enjoy all the books. Let me know what happens with that 94. (thumbs u
  5. Thanks for the quick payment, hope you enjoy your Hulk.
  6. Go to the first page of your Kudos thread and copy the URL from the navigation bar on your browser. Now go to your profile and put this in your signature: My Feedback Thread And there you are.
  7. Heh, I was bidding on all 3 of those and was the under-bidder on the Tomb of Terror. I had to take it a bit easy since I bought both of these in the last week.
  8. Thank you for the beautiful CSS #3, super fast shipping and perfect packing.
  9. Thank you. I am more than willing to ship the book back to you also, just PM me your address.
  10. And that is the attitude I've seen since I told him about the damage. His packing is beyond reproach since the books were double boxed, never mind that double boxing is worthless when the books are free to bounce around inside the box because they aren't taped to the cardboard press in the middle and the press isn't taped together with more than one piece of cellophane tape. Instead to him it's more likely that, after my 5 years on the board and buying thousands and thousands of dollars worth of books here, I decided to pull a book out of a bag by the corner of the front cover and then, to cover the damage, crushed the corner of the book and the 1/2 back to fool and rip him off. And I decided to do that over a f'n $175 book; it's a ludicrous as it is maddening. Right now he is just another sell who "didn't have a problem refunding his money" until it actually came time to do it. Hate to tell you, but you wouldn't be the first one to try to pull that scam and I have always refunded anyone's money but this doesnt even closely look right. Corner bang yes, could happen; ripped corner INSIDE the dang bag, no way. That's where my problem lies. And no need to start cursing and ranting, that's why we're taking it here I'm "ranting" because I bought a book, it arrived damaged and I've been called a liar for asking for some sort of refund. And I hate to tell you this, but books get damaged in shipping no matter how bullet-proof you think your packing is. Was the book insured? I don't think so. I didn't see anything about insurance on the label, I think it just had delivery confirmation.

  13. , that is a Ebay receipt for some microchamber paper I bought.
  14. Yes that small piece on the fullback I took the picture on is from the top left corner. The cover is not brittle but it is also no supple it's a 60-year old book and when it took hits from the book being loose inside the box it broke stuff off. I can post more pictures if needed/wanted. I do not have the box any more I already broke it down and put it in recycling but as I wrote before there was only a small smash on one corner.
  15. As I PM'd you if you look at how the corner came off 75%+ of it, from the right side through the EC emblem, is a break not a tear. The back cover is exactly the same but is not all the way off.
  16. The seller is tfa1998, here are the pictures I sent him and I have more. The books were double boxed and put in a cardboard press in the second box but the press was held together with one piece of cellophane tape and the books not taped to the press. When I opened the box the books were loose from the press and free to move around in the box. The corner was completely off the book when I pulled it out of the bag and the corner on the back cover is barely attached.
  17. Positive, the books were not secured in the box and were allow to move around in the box and one corner on the said book was crushed. ' Did you take any pics. In a situation like that, its best sometimes to take pics of the box before and after it's opened. Just a suggestion. The box was barely damaged (one corner was a bit smashed and only noticeable after I saw the book was destroyed and looked at the book more closely), I took many pictures of the crushed book and 1/2 back.
  18. Did you send him a PM letting him know about this thread? ? I've been going back and forth with him for a week now, last night I told him if he didn't come to some kind of agreement (after multiple requests) I would open the PayPal dispute and post here.

  20. I bought 2 books from a seller and one was destroyed in shipping due to faulty packing, over the past week the seller has repeatedly refused to come to any type of agreement on compensation and has accused me of doing the damage. I provided numerous pictures and told him exactly why it happened (due to his poor packing job) but he has refused to listen. Do I need to wait 30 days to nominate him for the list or can I do it now since he flatly refuses to take any responsibility/compensate me? I have already opened a PayPal dispute since he refuses to issue a refund.

  24. Gator (or anyone else that has had experience with this), Over the last year or so I have changed the focus of my collection to GA (mostly horror and crime but some other stuff too), the thing is I still have a ton of Silver & Bronze books in my collection including many keys. I still like the newer books but they really don't excite me like all of the great GA stuff out there that I don't have yet. So, the question is should I sell my Silver/Bronze to buy more GA books or keep them for 'old times sake'?
