Here's my latest addition to the quest. I've always wondered what JRSR was thinking when he created that cover - obviously the Black Widow doesn't have a mini skirt! ?
-
Before this spins into a giant mess, I have stayed in touch with everyone on the shipping situation, and books are going out today.
Everyone take a deep breath now ?
Loothy! You got some 'splainin' to do!
no much to 'splain really, just an unholy amount of overtime at work. Got a few packages out today, the rest are going out tommorow. Again, sorry guys for the delayed shipping, certainly did not mean for it to go this far!
Is that Greggy after a weekend convention?

Challengers of the unknown #82?

Right on, Mac Man! (thumbs u
I hope to get there one of these days, too. So what's next?

As seen in the Christmas Gift Exchange thread...
-
Kudos to JazzMan for a quick transaction and bomb-proof packaging!
Thanks, Alex. It was a pleasure dealing with you and I must say Kudos to you too for quick payment.

I just got these two today Two of the nicest looking mid-grades you can find.

I have a question on a related, yet unrelated topic. If someone who signs up for Christmas gift exchange doesn't come through to their assigned person, shouldn't they get on the probation list? Technically you are agreeing to terms of sending something to someone even though no money is being exchanged.
The reason I bring this up is that I remember reading from last year's shin dig, some people didn't get something even though they sent something.
Thoughts?

Marc Wolfe, the artist, is on the prob list? I love that guys work. How he got on the list is a story I missed. You know artists are notorious for missing deadlines, but I guess it is more than that.
He's a great artist, but a few boardies commissioned him back in May, I think, and their paid work went undone. I don't know if there is any update since I recall seeing someone receive one of his commissions recently. As you say, artists are notorious for missing deadlines.

:whatev:Whats GPA for an ASM #1 CGC 8.0 blue ?
It's cover price, but I'll buy it from you for a quarter....

This particular one is not, but I seem to recall that there was a warehouse find with a bunch of ASM 33s and a few others.
-
ASM 33 has got to be one of my most favorite covers. Even the first few pages of the story need no dialogue. In my opinion, it tells the tale just as Steve Ditko drew it and no words do it justice...sorry Stan.
-
My fave.

Kudos to JazzMan for an ASM #121 and for tossing in a freebie--ASM #120. Excellent packaging and communication.
(thumbs u Kudos back to you for great communication and follow through.

A low grade early Silver with DD still in his yellow jump suit.

To Gilbert's defense, I bought an AF15 from him over the summer, right before San Diego, and he delivered on time, as requested. I'm hoping that there isn't something sinister and that we hold hope for our fellow man...er teenager.

I can say, with 100% conviction, that NOTHING is better than having children... no matter the trials and tribulations, or the sacrifices etc... NOTHING equals it!
The above statement says it all.
Just store your comics in a safe place, away from curious hands and you'll be fine.

Kudos to the following, for super fast payments, and generally just being a joy to deal with, thank you (worship)

Thanks to Sharon for a easy and pleasant transaction...everyone should be as diligent as skypinkblu in their dealings on these boards.

Here's a couple of recent arrivals...
ASM 1
And ASM 75...This looks more like a 9.2 but a small stain on the BC dropped it down to an 8.5.
Comic Cubes - Anybody have these?
