ive seen higher end Betamax movies go for some big money already on ebay. there's a few very high end beta tapes on comicconnect, comiclink and heritage - interested to see how they will sell compared to their vhs counterparts.
I believe it. As a laserdisc collector, I was just being smarmy

Definitely saw more cash happening at the only big show I went to. Most dealers became card friendly in the last several years, but this year I heard a lot of buyers being told "Sorry, cash only."
I love the trade + cash approach. It’s such an awesome way to obtain a bigger book that might usually be out of reach. Also, raw books move fast, which is another added bonus (bypass the slabbing hassle).

Now they care? Hysterical. It must be hurting their bottom line. Welp Americans, you know what you need to do here if you want to see real change.

Miles Morales: Ultimate Spiderman 1 (Fiona Staples Variant) CGC 9.6 about to go for a monster amount on Ebay.
Last sale was $3,550 in March. Current bidding is at $3,600 with 3.5 days left of bidding.
Might go grab a Peterson variant if this is going to the moon.Looks like the Staples Variant 9.6 went for nearly $5k

I don't. There's humor where it is fun and tasteful. But some humor can go too far as in the case of this year's Oscars.
Agree. The Oscars have been a bad joke for years. Violence is never the answer.

Maybe the market is starting to panic
I have been swamped with 'wanted to buy' responses from sellers.
Those 4 short boxes of horror above were very reasonable.
I'm picking up 11 longs and 6 shorts on Saturday, plus 3 other people want to have a total sell-off.
Maybe the markets finally turning into a buyers one - at least for low level non-blue chip stuff anyway.
All Bronze Copper and Modern it should be noted.
Similar in USA now?
NOT comics but went to a card convention today in the US and noticed a number of previously, older “hot” cards were marked down. In some cases by hundreds of dollars. That being said, it was the busiest convention floor I’d seen in years and modern sig x rarities were very expensive - for example anything Burrow, Josh Allen, Ja Morant, etc., related. Also, tons of Pokémon

I have been eBayer since 2009 and three sellers gave me the same attitude so far. One of them blocked me. One mere question. Yep, they need to seal with it.
I just checked and I’ve had my eBay account since ‘98
