  1. why do YOU care? I would say it has to do with several recent eBay transactions that took a turn for the worst. For example here is one of the more memorable ones that comes to mind. A little over 2 months ago I had some individual_without_enough_empathy bid on my copy of CGC 6.5 TTA #27. He ended up winning that book @ $1,600. Anyways after the auction ended without prior notice he asked if we could set up some sort of a time-payment. He explained to me how he lost his job and how within a couple of weeks he would have the whole thing paid off. I refused to buy into this, because I never offer this service on any of my auctions, and ended up having to relist the book weeks later at my own expense. This example is just one of many as to why I have such a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to time payments in general.
  2. Who are you referring too? Myself? If so I am legal drinking age. Anyways I just don't think its fair to keep purchasing more and more comics while at the same time charging up multiple credit cards. I have heard stores of dealers, I won't mention any names, who have indeed done this in order to acquire certain pieces. Credit card bills that till this day, 10 or 15 years ago, they are still paying off. I just don' t think this right nor fair to seller or others who have the money too pay up front.
  3. If you possess "wants", not necessities (ie. food, clothing, transportation, shelter) that aren't COMPLETELY paid for I consider it stealing. (thumbs u (thumbs u That is why I don't make nonessential purchases unless I have that amount in FULL in my bank account.
  4. That's it. I'm giving up the mortgage and car payment and moving into a cardboard box under the bridge. That way no one will think I'm deadbeat for asking for time payments. Not if you're paying me $3 a month for the box. *If you love "time payments" so much why don't you find someone who will let you pay $25.00 a day for the next 30 years on an Action #1. (thumbs u (thumbs u
  5. This whole thread makes me sick. If you aren't interested or don't have the money to purchase a book don't lead the seller into believing you are interested. I am so tired of hearing about how people "might" be interested and whatnot. This is currently what I am dealing with on eBay. I don't believe in time payments either. You either have the money or you don't. People need to grow up, and quit going back on their word. If you are tempted to bid on books you cannot afford turn of your computer. Jesus this gets old.
  6. It has taken over 1 and 1/2 years to build our new house. My dad designed the whole thing himself. Pretty cool considering the house is over 5,000 square feet! Even though I am going off to college he has agreed to build this comic room for me. The house is totally finished except for this room, as we haven't laid the drywall yet. I am thinking about getting it painted blue since I love Superman. Furthermore we haven't had a locksmith come out to the the house to install the new door I wrote about in my OCD thread ( I wonder what Dwight Ray the man who bought our old is storing in this room? ) Anyways I will updating my reply when the room is totally completed in a couple of months. Over 50,000 comics are currently being stored at my grandma's, while 100+ collection of CGC comics is sitting side by side in 4 bank safety deposit boxes. I know this is silly considering some are worth only a couple hundred dollars, but I could care less. Which brings up another fact. These boxes are really hard to come by. I had to travel all over town to find one where they kept the humidity level at 50% and the temperature around 75 F, moreover each bank only has 10 or 15 of the extra large boxes....There is defiantly more to come...
  7. WOW what a smoker... Unbelievable book Buck!! (thumbs u (thumbs u

  11. I actually like All Winners #5 with all of that green on the cover. It is probably my favorite in the series.
  12. Hahaha. Nice Rich!! It looks as though Matt Nelson or someone pressed the living hell out of that book. I mean like 4 or 5 times. But Hey I would too,,,
  13. Bought these from Court Eilertson of Reliant-5 on Ebay. I am obsessed with his books. They are simply the best!! Then I bought this one off of ComicLink...
