  1. Really? Suppose the AA16 sells in between 800K and 1 Mil. Are you saying that this Action #1 is WAY overpriced?
  2. I would like to hear from some of the BIG GA guys like Bill, Gator, and Steve Showcase-4
  3. So with all of the BLOCKBUSTER books for sale as of lately it certainly begs the question, "WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE????". --PICKR U A WINNER--
  4. Mark thanks for the info. This kind of stuff really pisses me off not only because it casts yet "another" negative shadow on the collecting community, but also slows up other court proceedings. Simply put it takes up judges time, keeps alleged, soon to be convicted criminals behind bars that much longer causing tax payers to shelve out more $$$. Good luck in your case, as I wouldn't be surprised if this broke insufficiently_thoughtful_person switches the title on everything he owns and lists it under his wife or close relative. I have been though a similar situation where a paid handyman never completed the work we negotiated in his contract. Have you searched a criminal database to see if there are any existing warrants or court orders filed against him? In my case there were 6 others...IMO once a deadbeat always a deadbeat. After reading this, along with Steve's 156 page thread I will never engage in a buy or sale w/ Jortner, Gus, nor SilverAgeComics.
  5. I certainly agree with Adam. So, let's rank them. I don't live at the "top of the market", much more of a bottom feeder, but here are some of the ones I know about. Hopefully the deep pockets here will re-order and add to this list please 1. Action 1 - Church 2. Tec 27 - Allentown 3. Marvel 1 - Church 4. Flash 1 - Church 5. AA 16 - Church Great list Bill but you left out the Superman #1 isn't there a NM copy out there somewhere? I would also put the AA 16 above the the Flash 1 and maybe alongside the Marvel 1 (depending on the collector's taste). Where does the AF #15 @ CGC 9.6 fit in on the list? Best Existing? CC
  6. Peter as much as I love your CGC 6.5 Action #1 I too would have to choose the Mile High AA#16 over the Action.
  7. Who owns the Church copy of Action #7? Dave Anderson? If so what is the grade? NM-,NM,NM+? CC
  8. More Fun 52 for ME!! (thumbs u (thumbs u Nice PQ for a close to 60 year old book!! There are a hell of a lot less unrestored copies of MF52 in high grade.
  9. That's a beaut. I saw that when it came on Ebay 'cause it's a grail of mine. Thanks for the compliment, A
  10. Action #1 restored or unrestored in decent shape over any book any day...PERIOD (thumbs u (thumbs u
  11. Anyone know who the owner is? The owner is D.K Would this guy sell if the price was right?
  12. Anyone know who the owner is? The owner is D.K Who is D.K.?
  13. rust never sleeps Bill this is one case where I think CGC should allow for staple replacement without it triggering a PLOD. I would hate for a book of this caliber to develop severe spine damage because of a money issue. Clearly this would be "conservation". CC
