Bangzoom was that OA in the original Campbell Bros collection you purchased in the 1970's or did you acquire it separately?

The Campbell Bros deal involved only comic books.
The Space Pirate story was purchased at a New York Comicon.

Anyone what does the Kansas City copy grade at?
-
Action 1, and I am a huge Batman fan, but that Action 1 looks pretty damn nice for a 5.5!
that's because that is Peter's (action1kid) 6.5 blue....it was resubbed a few years ago, and I believe all agreed it was too tightly graded the first time...
Peter, correct me if I am wrong?
rick
Was it resubmitted prior to Peter purchasing it?
-
Action 1 in 5.5 over 3 copies of bats #1 in 9.0
-
Which one would you choose?
Richard You Must Choose just 1, both will not do!!
Carolina,
thanks for your contributions to this thread.....but this one is not even close. Action #1 in 1,000,000 th of one second
Your welcome! (thumbs u (thumbs u
Unless of course someone offered me something in a extremely high grade vs.a lower grade Action Comic #1. Then I would take the high grade.
-
**Also what grade is the Kansas City copy of Action 1?

That Tec 27 only sold for 50K in '04. It's really gone up to 90K in the last 3 years (doubled)?
-
I'll take the Tec 31. That big chunk missing from the 27 is a turnoff. Plus the 31 is worth more $.
I doubt it
Give me a G give me a P give me a A...
That Tec 27 only sold for 35 or 40K, while the 31 guide and half or doubled Oversrtreet
-
Without hesitation, the Tec # 31.
Highest graded. Good page quality. Awesome cover. What's not to like?
hold on cowboy!
Highest graded doesnt mean BEST Existing. Theres at least one better copy (Dentist?) and maybe more unslabbed as of today. So jumping on this 8.0 for that reason would be premature.
This Cowboy is sticking to his guns. Tec 31 please.
Me too. I'll take the Tec 31. That big chunk missing from the 27 is a turnoff. Plus the 31 is worth more $.

Bangzoom your AA16 is very nice! (thumbs u (thumbs u

Let's match up some Silver and Gold---- because it's my thread, so I can do whatever I want
Both sold within the past 18 months or so for approx. $17,000. Which one would you choose, and why
Showcase 4 for me...that name is just too cool to pass up!
Steve
Neither. I hate both of them.
