  1. Thanks! I always ask for back cover scans when I'm interested in a book, so I like to "eat my own dog food"... If I only had a good scanner for slabs so I didn't have to rely on iPhone photos I'd be fully set...
  2. Feel free to PM me if you feel any of my prices are out of line...there's not a lot of GPA data out there for most of these books, so I had to extrapolate and/or go with my "gut feel" on some prices...

  16. Hey everyone, As part of my effort to pare down my collection, I've decided to sell the handful of ECs I've accumulated over the last 20 years. I purchased all of these books raw and had them slabbed at the beginning of this year. None of them have been pressed while in my possession. The main reason I only have a handful as opposed to a bunch is because I'm very particular when I purchase raw books. With this noted, none of these books have the following defects unless called out: Loose or detached staples Rusty staples A loose or detached centerfold Spine splitting Soiling, water damage, stains or fingerprints Tears Chipping or dents Major creases Writing on the front cover Any printing defects (printers creases, smudges, etc.) Any interior defects unless noted (tears, missing page corner chips, etc.) For those of you who collect ECs, you know that being this strict (along with looking for copies in Fine or better) somewhat limits your purchasing opportunities. Here's a list of the books I'm selling: Crime Suspenstories #9 CGC 6.0 Fine SOLD Crime Suspenstories #14 CGC 6.0 Fine SOLD Crime Suspenstories #15 CGC 9.0 VF/NM SOLD Haunt of Fear #19 CGC 7.0 FN/VF Haunt of Fear #21 CGC 7.5 VF- SOLD Shock Suspenstories #3 CGC 7.0 FN/VF SOLD Shock Suspenstories #17 CGC 8.0 VF SOLD Tales From the Crypt #29 CGC 7.5 VF- SOLD Tales From the Crypt #38 CGC 6.0 Fine SOLD Vault of Horror #15 CGC 7.0 FN/VF SOLD Vault of Horror #36 CGC 8.0 VF SOLD Weird Fantasy #11 CGC 7.0 FN/VF I charge exact shipping to ship these books insured via USPS Priority Mail, and the shipping cost will depend on your location (I'm willing to ship anywhere in the world, but know there may be shipping restrictions in light of what's going on right now). I accept PayPal, checks or money orders. The first gets the book, but I'll also listen to offers via PM. I do not accept returns on CGC-graded books, but will work with you should there be an issue with a purchase. Please no probies and HOSers, and thanks for looking! Art
  17. I also agree, and found a scan of this Spidey #11 CGC Universal 4.5 on ComicLink that seems to exhibit the same front cover cut as your book... https://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fitems.asp%3Fid%3D3884%26pg%3D2&id=1386588
  18. I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect all large gatherings like conventions, concerts and professional sporting events will be prohibited until a coronavirus vaccine or some other treatment is found. Assuming we can get the virus under control with shelter at home, social distancing, etc. it still won't completely go away until it can be treated, and all it would take is a handful of infected people at an event the size of SDCC to potentially start some kind of outbreak. Thoughts? Like I said, I hope I'm wrong...
  19. I totally agree...I just had a situation where I communicated with Harshen and a few people from customer service, and they were all a pleasure to deal with.
