  1. Just interested in find out about it.  Can a comic go below 0.5?

Did this thing catch fire at some point?  What a trip.

Cover completely detached, no back cover.

All interior pages are there and hanging on for dear life.

Honestly don't know what to do with a comic like this. . .Put a repro cover on it?  Just let it disintegrate into dust?

    Thanks in advance.1607773194_Scan_20210628(3).thumb.jpg.2c96fb521ff3d1ff970dbe3607f111ee.jpgScan_20210628.thumb.jpg.9be0465a0038e0e57d506ae0740fab01.jpg592563789_Scan_20210628(2).thumb.jpg.a3af904b421759d99923380c539cab00.jpg

  2. Thought I had the 19 and 20, and probably do, but the 19 is not in the box with the others.  ??? Scan_20210627.thumb.jpg.a2303aa4a0b107661f887df09a1af23b.jpg19480798_Xmen20interior.jpg.7ad32e5fcc0a2d41b8b54a3058027bb6.jpg304600334_xmen20bc.thumb.jpg.36fbb3004f03d7e99370fd2c81c0ec91.jpg Anyhow, last 1966 X-men to post for me for now.  This one might see a bump in grade from the others?  Also, do these qualify as white pages?  Side note:  I kinda want those plastic hobby kits from Aurora. . . .

  3. Thanks for the explanation, I'll look for this in some of my other older comics.  Of course they had no idea back in 1966 that these would be valuable collectors items some day.  Closer inspection of the comic reveals that it was indeed folded directly down the middle, with the crease running throughout the entire book.  Cool information, thanks board members.

  4. So, I'm a newbie here, but used to lurk these boards a lot back around 2010 or so.  I collected a lot in the early eighties in my teens, and again around 2004-6 when my son was born and my folks gave me my old collection to store in my garage instead of theirs. =)   Time in between went somewhere . .not sure where.  Anyhow, I mostly collect MTG cards and play D&D with my son and friends, he never really gained interest in comics even though he loves fantasy, sci-fi ect...So I took out the old comic collection the other day and decided to price them and I found out that comics have gone bonkers since 2010 or so when I last paid any attention.  I was pretty stoked and am thinking of selling a few that have value right now in order to fund some other purchases.  One of the things I noticed was that Star Wars Comics have really taken off.  I have a nice copy of Star Wars #2 that I want to sell, but I am confused about reprints, variants . . .whitman, newstand ect . . I did a quick search and couldn't find what I was looking for.  Maybe I just don't know where to look.  I have the whitman .30 cent newstand variant.  Where can I find info about pricing for this?  Ebay is not helping me right now.  Is there a thread that somebody can point me to?  Can anyone share any information?  Thanks in advance.

    Cheers
