  6. No offense, but this is normal, common-sense advice at any time , in any market situation.
  7. he's pretty fast - Frenz ones only took about 3 months (for both), but they were shipped together with the Buscema which took almost 6 months to complete
  8. Thank you Mr. Frenz , Mr. Breeding and Scott @ Catskill Comics for these beauties
  9. Just arrived !! 🥰 Thanks Sal Buscema and Scott at Catskill Comics
  10. In Comic Art I definitely buy "what I like". It doesn't really matter how much it "costs" in terms of importance to me. Having said that, my Mcfarlane Spidey/Venom page I did purchase is as much for the way he draws Spiderman (maybe the best version ever!) as it is the "higher-end" perception in the collecting community of the piece itself (which I also do enjoy the thought of owning as well). But, my Frenz Spidey sketch blank-cover variant that only cost a few hundred, or my Sal Buscema cover re-creation that I commisioned for myself for a fraction of the McFarlane page, are just as important to me as they were created only for me.
  11. here's my McSpidey-Venom page .... wasn't lucky enough to get it in 1998, but so glad I pulled the trigger.
  12. Gotta be honest, a big reason I sold the 181 (and the IH#1 at the same same) is 1) I made big multiples on both since I bought them and 2) just not a fan of Hulk or Wolverine in books or movies. And I am one who loves the cover to Av#1.
