  1. That is an incredible reason for a bump! Awesome! had you ever owned a 27 before ?
  2. Bought mine in 2009 raw for $800 at a local show - graded out to a 9.2. So what's that, almost 10X in 10 years ?!!
  3. Answer is exactly the same, plus add 30% exchange rate
  4. GA result in: BATMAN #7 CBCS UNIVERSAL 3.0 O/W CGC UNIVERSAL 3.0 O/W whew!
  5. Right - and who do you think is correct based on history and precedent [hint: not PGX]
  6. I think we are asking way too much of the buyer and the seller here .... this is extremely difficult detective work , and kudos to who put it all together here on the Boards. Very impressive indeed. The worth of these Boards is demonstrated day-in and day-out !! The real question is whether buyer and C-Link are keeping up-to-date by scouring these Boards.
  7. I'm saying I bought it raw as a card from a huge dealer in vintage hockey cards that was around 4.0 - 5.0 with no issues. This company would not want a reputation of selling something to me that wasn't legit .... but KSA thought "trimmed", and I was puzzled and not happy. I cracked it out of the holder, thought "I will give it to PSA , I do not (cannot) believe it is trimmed", and they came back with the card that I thought I originally purchased.
  8. Wow, this is unbelievable !!! But I gotta say, I ALWAYS buy CGC only. Once, off of a guy in my city here from Kijjiji, I bought a Batman #7 CBCS 3.0 (several months ago) and I just sent it to CGC as part of the 50% discount to redo the "other companies" holders. I'm still waiting to see if it is a true 3.0 blue (hopefully higher ), should get it back in a week or two. Another little story, but hockey card related, I sent a Howie Morenz 1933 OPC to KSA here in Ontario (Canada) ... not one of the top 2 or 3 companies for sports grading, but they are close to me and relatively cheap and easy to deal with. I spent about 1K on the card raw from a very respectable vintage card company at a local card show, but KSA came back with "authentic, trimmed" and no grade on a sports card that's been trimmed. I was extremely disappointed. Then , just last Fall PSA (the top compnay, equivalent to CGC in comics) was at a local show taking submissions. Long story short, I got it back a couple months ago and its a 4.0 and no trimming, nothing else noted - and I'm happy again. Use the industry standard, it's hard to go wrong. I'd really like to know how this mess of an AF15 story ends though ................
  9. major issues with this book. two significant chips out of back, plus stain bleeding thru back cover and how many pages ? 2.0 at "maximum" IMO
  10. I don't think it could get to 5 .... I'm gonna say 4.0 due to chipping, nice copy!
  11. http://spiderfan.org/comics/guest.html I think this is a good start:
  12. Yes, I remember finding a list on a comic fan type of website ... searching for it now , but I’m talking over 10 years ago now .... who knows if it’s still out there
  13. It was my goal, what you propose here, so I tried to track down every cross-over COVER appearance , but then I gave up because I wasn’t sure how to find every single one, especially bronze to modern — but I think I have all from the 60’s to the mid-70’s .... and not just crossovers , but team ups and special issues, etc so many out there ....:
  14. I am in awe and in shock !!!! This would be in my top 2 or 3 pieces of original comic art that I would trade almost anything for !!! ROM was right in my wheelhouse when I was about 11-13 years old , read and collected everything up until about issue 50. I was able to get a Milgrom piece not too long ago, but i’ve been outbid on a couple covers and inner pages of several books so far this past year — had no clue this splash existed! thank you so much for sharing major congrats to you, you are one very lucky Rom fan!! Fish
  15. That would have made an awesome present to myself - alas I was outbid at last second . But I’m glad it did find a good home!
  16. My favourite band !!!!!!!!!! I'd love to get my hands on a Time Machine soundboard recording !
  17. You my friend have great taste! And nice raw goodness (I recognize alot of these, but alas all of mine are trapped in hard plastic )
  18. Just WOW I would sell almost anything for those as well ! ROM was so huge to me when I was like 11-13...I read every issue from #1 onwards and couldn’t wait for next one to arrive at my local comic store. Congrats to you, so jealous. Some early cover art coming up, gonna bid hard and see what happens ....
  19. Started with Silver as a kid, bought me a Superman #6 about 13 years ago ..... went GA nuts for about 10 years .... then went back to compete SA keys, now into mainly original art and it never ends......
