  1. I wasn't there on Saturday, but I was told that a lot of people were refused entry into the show.  I was told that it was in the thousands. When I walked into the convention hall, a couple of the dealers that were there on Saturday , left and there tables were empty on Sunday.  I believe that 1 or 2 comic dealers during the beginning of the Sunday show, left early.

That being said, it was still a good show if you were looking for great comics.

  2. I attended the show on Sunday and I was impressed by the selection of comics and the amount of comic dealers, but I was surprised by the low attendance. I figured that Sunday was a low attendance day, but I was told that thousands of people were refused entry into the show on Saturday and Sunday.

If you were shopping for comics, this show was awesome.

    All Select #2

Classic Schomburg, one of the most desirable covers of the Golden Age.

Low grade but complete. Cover detached, centerfold detached. Some brittleness on some of the edges. Chips off the edges of some pages, don't go into art except for 1st page where it slightly affects art.

    $775.00  $650.00 shipped.

Where else can you get a classic Timely for under $1K?

It's the only Archie book I've ever actively looked for.    Don't see it too often, but I wouldn't classify it as scarce.  I've seen a few copies over the years at shows.  I don't think I've ever seen a true HG copy in the wild though (pretty sure people have posted HG copies here before).

I bought mine a few years back from Rob (fer-de-lance on the boards).   He usually has multiple copies of "key" books, although I don't recall if he had more than one of these.
