@CGC Mike Can you advise why CCS appears to have gone ahead and charged for Perez submissions? Should we anticipate charges from CGC as well? I have not received any email detailing the options for the books I subbed.

Finished the main story and all of the Order killing and got the settlement to Level 6 in AC Valhalla. I really enjoyed it, but I am not sticking around to 100% complete it. Forgot when I got the PS5 I actually rebought Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, so going to finish the post story part of that before deciding if LoU2 or REVillage is next. I did not like SquareEnix Avengers and just stopped playing it, I thought it was so bad. That said, been hearing lots of good things about GOTG and it's now half off most places. Might hit that next. Maybe by the time all that is done, Elden Ring will be cheap enough to entice me. I don't mind being behind several months to a year on the biggest titles. Most of the time, anyway.

The story of a promise made during the Korean War

THE basis? I'm not sure anyone is saying that. ONE factor? You bet your sweet bippy it's PART of the reason for the high prices. -

I've driven in Houston. I'd say it's safer to say, you need to forget how to drive to live there. -
CGC Pedigree Labels on File Copies !?!?!
Transplant replied to bounty_coder's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
They'll run out issuing them for Harvey file copies. Ah the good old days when Geppi was blowing out cases (individually) through Heritage of raw HG Harvey books. -

Uh oh. Richard might kick you off the "share a margarita and chips with" list. to both of you. I hardly ever post here or the boards now, and I haven't gone after any Promise books, but to say that the story hasn't had SOME impact on prices doesn't make sense to me. Graded comics can be distilled into more commodity like items than many types of antiques, but provenance still matters in this and most collecting fields. It just does. Can I say it equaled 1 3x premium? No. But I'd be lying if I said the story didn't help the prices go up to some degree. As a result, the story is subject to investigation and refutation, regardless of whether Heritage or anyone else wants to spill the beans. -
I think people missed this part. Sounds like you submitted for an in house signing. If so, 10 months TAT even with pressing is way outside the norm. Call.

What exactly are they fixing? Things? But not login issues, etc? @CGC Mike curious what cgc is actually fixing? Invoices dropping after 8 months? Login issues? What is actually being fixed?

Is CGC trying to lose their dealers as well?

You're right. It's a little silly. But, and I hesitate to type this, it is somewhat of the principle of the thing. Dealers built CGC by submitting, advocating, buying and selling. Just ignore that for a second. The question is, why start charging? Why $200? Why not $1000? $200/dealer account isn't going to raise any kind of significant money for CGC, as least not on the comic side. No idea about coins, cards, etc. So why do it? Dealers have expectations of CGC that already aren't being met. Now, they're not just supporters, CGC has made them another level of customers. Why do it? 1 answer. It gets a dealer used to paying "something" for the privilege of being a dealer. Next year or the year after, when it's time to renew that dealer fee, who knows what the prices will be. And oh, by the way, read that dealer agreement again. Anything disparaging CGC is grounds to be terminated as a dealer. -
CGC Announces Updates to Services and Fees for 2022

The CGC Idea Committee will consider your submission. Thank you. -
Fair. But you would have to buy a gc to their store. Though, I guess that’s better than the games they make you buy with it that I probably wouldn’t buy. I stopped an early piece into AC Valhalla on my last gen xbox so I could rebuy and play on PS5. Can’t wait to hit Ghosts of Tsushima directors cut next after completing the whole launch edition already. What a great game.

You “tagged” cbcs? I’m lost

BC no one has offered CGC the right amount of cash to do so yet, unlike what likely transpired here.
