  1. I store my Mylars inside bigger Mylars, so no fingerprints.
  2. It's just a bad argument. It's like saying because Power Man and Iron Fist were a duo, that neither one could ever team up with someone else.
  3. Because other than Devil Dinosaur it doesn't have anything to do with the original series from what I understand.
  4. If only there were some other way you could communicate directly with CGC, instead of yelling out loud in a public square? https://www.cgccomics.com/contact/ They "knowingly had" your books? You mean the books on Paradise's account that, as far as CGC knows, have nothing to do with you? The same CGC Peter has said had nothing to do with the delay? What did you want CGC to do? Did you want them to set off alarms about books that had been with CGC for a long time (maybe due to not being paid) and then read your mind that the books were yours, not the dealer # on the actual invoice? What is it exactly that you think CGC was "aware of"?
  5. Mike McFadden passed away yesterday, surrounded by his family. RIP.
  6. A quick update from the family: Dad Update: Dad is calm and comfortable. We read him all your messages. We will read him some comics a little bit later. We'll be removing life support this afternoon. He looks like he's ready.
  7. Or don't. This forum can only handle so many "woe is me" posts before malfunctioning.
  8. Perhaps this would be better directed to the CGC Idea Committee?
  9. Frankly, you are a fool if you believe that. The only way that can be true is if Paradise did submit the books that month, but did not pay to have them graded. Otherwise, you are a sucker for falling for their story.
  10. I received permission from the family to post the following. Some of you may know Michael McFadden, an EC and Charlton specialist and grader at CGC. https://www.cgccomics.com/about/the_graders.asp For several weeks, Michael has been fighting a valiant fight against pneumonia. Unfortunately, the prognosis is not good at all. He has been in the hospital for weeks and doctors do not anticipate a full recovery, if any at all. To say the situation is dire is an understatement. I post here because some of you may have interacted with Michael. He is a fountain of comic knowledge and truly one of the nicest guys in the hobby. He is a founding member of a group of friends who started meeting to discuss comics, etc., many, many, many years ago. That group continues today and I'm glad to be part of it. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. They are facing very tough times ahead. To be frank, his daughters may have to make a very tough choice this week.
