They update the comments on an ongoing basis. I've seen comments change or get added even while the status was the same. Yep. I remember when I had my National Comics #7 graded (classic cover) and it didn't show in the comments after the grading process. That was when you could track it all the way through. I called and they said what Doohick states. It finished with the classic cover designation. My phone call isn't what did it but if you're nervous, give them a call.
