  1. Wow! I've never seen a slab cracked that bad before! Try to be more careful next time. It came this way - Poor CGC quality control
  2. Some recent acquisitions and submissions. Fellow boardies should recognize a few of these books since I purchased a few of them here
  3. Being a big Atomic Knights fan, I have always a slabbed copy of this book and got this off of Ebay recently.
  4. Thanks Paul on a neat Steve Woron lot. I was surprised when it arrived so fast. Paul is great to deal with. Jeff
  5. Some Hawkmans flew in today. Outside the #3, condition isn't great but some great Murphy Anderson art in most and a Kubert cover to boot.
  6. It has been ages since I bought a BA book but I couldn't pass these up. Price was right and he condition pretty solid. I have always wanted decent copies of 22 and 26. The 18 was just a bonus.
  7. Great book. I love the Seven Soldiers. The first run (#1-15) that I completed.
  8. Thanks for sharing, Eric. This reminds us how comics can be such a part of our lives and not just funny books. This is one of my favorite movies too.
  9. Even though I don't post in this thread much at all, I'm going to get all mushy on you guys. The camaraderie and friendly rivalry that the consistent posters have in this thread is so refreshing. I have talked in PM with a few of you and everyone I have met in PM is great . So, hats off, to all you. I come here to learn about the turtles but also to feel good with the respect and caring you guys show. THANKS Jeff
  10. Some of my favorite reads are the HT and Doc Strange stories in Strange Tales. I picked up a batch of low grade readers from HouseofComics and have thoroughly enjoyed re-reading them.
  11. Personally I hate getting gift certificates. I'd prefer to get cash - I can spend it wherever I want, whenever I want. Sometimes I have forgotten to use gift cards, lost them, they have expired, or I don't even shop at the places where I get the cards. Okay, enough of my personal preference and with that said, I'd go along with why not seems like it would be worth trying and could be a money maker for CGC.
  12. Awesome books as usual, Jeff. This cover is more than suggestive - Especially the elephant's trunk
