  1. Rest assured your book will increase in value over the years. We're seeing short term swings in the book. More important, enjoy it.
  2. Hey you gotta start somewhere, very nice. Welcome to the Boards.
  3. Bought this issue of the stands. My fave FM was issue #100 and i bought it off the stands. A jam-packed issue. The order pages were better than the pics! Remember Captain Company?
  4. Best one was Cool Hand Luke as the "Captain". "What we have is a failure to communicate." Classic line and it still lives on today.
  5. Heckuva flick. Don't forget Strother Martin (he played in many of those spaghetti westerns). I still have bad dreams about King Cobras.
  6. Man you got screwed. Just got mine at Kroger for 2.50 per box.
  7. Wonder why QES does not note "toning on the front cover". So they only note the good in a book? Gorgeous book though.
  8. Some of us are not in it just for the $bucks$.
  9. Collectors use the term rare as a "hard to find" synonym. By Overstreet definition, rare and scarce refer to the book numbers out there. If I recall less than 10 copies is scarce and less than 25 is rare. We know there are no SA keys in these categories to my knowledge.
  10. Sorry I can't put TTA27 or ST110. in the same class as H1. Yeah let's leave the word "rare" to that other company and it's SA keys.
  11. I would single out Hulk 1 as the rarest Marvel key. It has always been...60s 70s 80s 90s...
  12. One the prettiest FF1 I've seen. Keep in mind HA enhances scans to produce ultra bright pics.
  13. Great job on the compilation of the above data. Man, it brings back memories on all the books and the years have flown by on the Boards..I love all the books.
  14. We hear you. Actually I think this copy was properly graded. Nice eye appeal with MC = 4.0. Nice book for sure.
  15. Gosh darn that is so nice!! I love this book. Ultra major key and I'd take it over many number 1s.
  16. Yeah the dame in it was Andy's girlfriend on Andy Griffith. Love this flick. Saw it at my cousin's 10th birthday party in '71 at a bunkin party..Scary as hell then and still is.
