  1. Probably not but I would much rather have a book with fresher pq esp white. Normally means the book was preserved better. C/OW could have darker transfer stains on the inside covers, etc. I would pay more for white pages.
  2. It sounds like the internet bidders squeezed every penny from the book before it entered the floor.
  3. 795k is not chump change. Great finish. With better centering/wrap a 9.4 could fetch close to a mil. That's incredible.
  4. The book is doing very well. No letdown here. You go girl! Spidey!
  5. AF15 has survived 11 Presidents with various economic policies, crises, and catastrophes. It has seen alot. The webslinger will make it through this economic scare.
  6. Every college curriculum should require micro and macro economics as basic courses of study.
  7. Didn't some of the first holders note "cleaned & pressed" on the label?
  8. That book talks on its own. No CVA sticker required!
  9. I know some people who are re-aligning their 401ks from the big Dow drop. And some collectors probably dumping AF15. Big mistakes. They will surely bounce back.
  10. Just like Bell bottom jeans, Converse shoes, psyche-painted shirts, comics are cyclic.
  11. Yeah and (4) 9.6s. Matt's presser needs an overhaul with that much work... Wish CGC had 2 grading scales. Natural and UnNatural grades.
  12. Is Mr. Neily still alive? Incredible story. The WMs are my fave pedigree. I buy and sell old Aurora model kits to a guy in NH that loves comics. He is well familar with the story and the WM's are 2 hrs north of him.
  13. Hulk 1 is a lot rarer, probably the rarest of the Marvel keys esp in higher grade. Sorry Spidey.
