I haven't ever seen this posted on the boards before, but I am sure it has probably been done. And no, I didn't perform a search to find out. I think it is really cool to read and consider this your daily comic history lesson. Pay attention as there will be a test at the end. :insane:

Werewolfism? I believe the preferred politically correct term is lycanthropicly challenged. :sumo:

BTW, here is a link to the full transcript of Bill Gaines' testimony to the Senate Subcommittee on Juvenile Deliquency for those who might not have read it before:

Gaines Testimony

Thanks; I sure enjoyed that! Lots of great lines:

GAINES: It would be just as difficult to explain the harmless thrill of a horror story to a Dr. Wertham as it would be to explain the sublimity of love to a frigid old maid.

Zing! lol

At the bottom of the page is a link to Walt Kelly's testimony, which is well worth a read as well.

Dell Disney Comics did not subscribe to the CCA so they made filthy lucre by accepting ads like this to tempt the minds of young Americans! From a wholesome Uncle Scrooge comic:

500 shots?

Gotta get me one of them so I'm not out-gunned by my buddies.

I wonder if one could still argue that the ad meets the code as realistic gun facsimiles were banned and the ad notes "outer space designs are embossed on the sides to add to the fun"?
