Journey into mystery #85 1'st LOKi, what grade was it listed as?

Fresh from a certain online comic auction site, what would you grade this at. No tears, soils... Slight marvel chip far right of cover.

I'll post the grade this store had it listed as as well as the price I paid. Any guesses?

I assume your scanner is washing out the reds?

If so, I think I used to own the copy and with the page quality being so good I figured it for a 6.5. Its a strong copy and a shame it has the one chip on the right edge.

4.5 once again. Looks like a fair bit of spine stress, and the top left corner is pretty dull.

Price? CGC 4.5s are going for $200, so I figure you paid half that for a raw copy... assuming it IS a 4.5...

$100. Final answer.

I would grade this 5.5, without considering the faded colors. The spine wear and the chip keep it under 6.0.

With the faded colors, I'd lower it to 5.0 or 4.5. Those reds should be...well, red.

I bought this off a recent comiclink auction for 93$. It was listed as a 4.5.

What do you think, deal or no deal?

Could ba a 4.5.

A 6.0 with a fade... hm

Is the top staple still strongly attached?

VG+ doesn't seem out of the loop.

It does look slightly above avgerage (VG = Average).
