sticky spots where balloons were removed

I have a couple pages of OA that have glue residue where word balloons were removed(NOT by me). They stick to the mylars. Any suggestions as to what I can do to get rid of the stickiness without smearing or ripping the art?

I use rubber cement thinner to remove tape from some OA. It doesn't harm paper, since it evaporates really fast. It also dissolves most glues and leaves india ink alone. However, I would test it first, in case India ink was not used on your OA

Not that I don't trust Malvin (hey Malvin!) but can anyone else chime in to say if they've tried this and how it worked? I just got a page that could do with some clean up to it, and I have a couple of others too...

Simon! Search for tape removal from the list, thats where I got my advice from and I've used it on several pages, it works!
