Alan Bellman is quite a character. I saw him on a panel in SD. He remembers everything, and has some very strong opinions abouts events occurring in the world today.

 

He also seemed sincerely shocked at the size of the convention, and the attention he was getting. I don't think he really had any idea that his work had been, and still is, appreciated.

Nice piece, Steve. The art style reminds me of Al Avison's Captain America from the early 40's. Congrats!
