You may consider alerting PayPal and eBay.

 

If they have records of the transaction, you could try to get your money or the piece back.

I sold it on Jun 20 2006 to an ebay seller who is not registered anymore. Hopefully that still works out and they both use the same paypal email address.

The person who bought it from me is Kevin Chow from Douglaston, NY.

 

His ebay ID was axeforce222 which is not registered anymore. Would be nice to know if the seller of the item was the same guy ...

Can you file the art as stolen and then recover it?

I am still waiting from answers from ebay and paypal. Also I called the local police station here and they suggested that I get collect the information that I have and bring it to them so they can inquire ebay about it. That is probably not worth my time.

 

I am in good faith that Paypal will refund me the money.

I did not see a Kevin Chow listed as a member there, but you may want

to contact them at: http://www.comicartfans.com/Contact.asp.

 

E-mail them what your situation is concerning this artwork, and see if

they can help you. Hopefully you still have scans of this artwork, and

if you e-mailed this person any images of this artwork, I'd say you have

a good chance of getting some justice. Hope this helped.
