Avengers - A Top Ten Cover! Grail Art Day!!!

OK Gang, here goes --

 

The pride of my collection. A John Buscema and Tom Plamer masterpiece, I present for your veiwing pleasure Avengers #277 -- the final chapter in the Masters of Evil "Under Siege" storyline in which the mansion was destroyed, and an era ended.

 

There are not enough "thank you's" that I can offer to phenomonal art dealer, class act and all around good guy Ruben Azcona of Comicbookartgallery.com for making this one happen.

 

There is just detail tremendous detail, and crisp, clean linework with no noticible flaws of any type. The piece looks like it came off of Big John's desk yesterday.

 

It is a beauty. Since it may be many years (I hope not) before I can top this one, I'd like to humbly ask for your comments on CAF -- I told my wife I could hit 20 comments, so come on gang -- take a look and Avengers Assemble

Gang -- thanks so much for the nice comments and kind thoughts. It feels good as I finally took the big plunge for a major piece and when you see reaction like this it sort of validate the fact that you are not completely off of your rocker
