Unfortunately, I don't know if the computer would be able to differentiate quality v. quantity. A valid point nonetheless.

 

Depending on how the data is stored a query could be run against a database of known graemlin code. If its just the graemlin code it can count as a graemlin post. If it does a string or text search that is another story. Difficult but not impossible.

 

This way you could have 2 buckets for posts: meaningful and *spoon*

my opinion (and nothing against greggy or danny or anyone) is that only posts with "substance" (i.e. words, like joe_collector) should count in a "tally" of posts...

anyone can hit a graemlin button all day long and be a "top" poster...but, if one does care about that number, at least make the number have some substance...
