Re. current ComicLink FOCUSED AUCTION items... WOW lots of goodies again, eh?

Auction previews are always fun, in a Match Game sorta way. Just to see what kind of mad skillz are in play these days with paper mechanics.

This Rulah is facinating. It's stunning what non-additive, non-restorative alchemy can do to diminish the appearance of ink bleed.

Dry cleaning extraordinaire. (worship)

Pink pages? Thats a first

Yes, can someone please explain, PINK pages?

Fox apparently used pink coloured paper because it was cheaper to buy. Dork

How's this one for the low-grade trifecta? Lowest CGC grade possible (0.5)...Restored...and it's Qualified as well (centerfold missing, affects story, INCOMPLETE)...

Having said that, cover appearance alone it looks pretty decent for all that and might be had for a pretty good deal...

Thank you, greggy. I never realized just how full of it you were. :)

By "it" I meant information. :shy:

Honorable mention to this Zip Comics #8. Mainly for the it's fun shock-laugh effect. (Yeah, I'm easily entertained, what can I say. )

Nice book, but the 'White pages' gave me pause since it's sporting a rusted staple. I always assumed the same high humidity environment that might rust a staple would probably tone pages a bit too.

No big bump, 5.5 to 6.0. Straight resub most likely, with pages improving from Off-white/white to White.

The fun came with the back cover scan. Where those gorgeous White pages give a tease, just peeking out with the fan-fold. Click to enlarge, and...

Whoa! mehlol

(If you can't view their large scans, maybe this captures that b-slap eye-poke effect somewhat.)

Such pretty white pages. This is why cgc gets the big bucks. There's really no need to even look at the back cover when it has cgc's stamp of approval on PQ.

Whoever graded that needs to be given a pisss test

I think they already took one...on the comic.

No joke. I'm stunned how that PQ got through, what, three graders. Then again, maybe that bodes well for the books I just submitted

I have three to send as well and that is definitely an encouragement. Confidence may be another matter.
