Just booked my flight.

 

That 8 AM return flight on the Sunday is going to kill me! doh!

 

I looked at airfare yesterday. Cheapest I could find on Delta was $415 :o I will try different airlines next.

I would take $415 any day of the week. Mine cost $614 :sick:

 

Cost me $380 in gas to get there in the van. Down from $425 the year before.

That seems high, by you are in Vancouver. I live by Mr. Mouse so Sunday flights are always expensive.

My flights are going from 220-275 :)
I checked yesterday and my flight would be about $125 RT. The train is like $25 each way. I like my new town.

 

Now I have to decide who I'm going to try to glom onto: the MK, Greggy, Nik, Arex, etc. bunch or the Mr.Schomburg, Ze-man, 143sk, scrooge, etc. bunch? Most likely is the 3rd option: I haven't met any boardies yet so I'll be flying solo at least for a while until everyone realizes what a great personality I have.

 

Have I mentioned that the 27th is also my birthday?

What days is everyone planning on being there? If we could have the forum dinner Friday I can fly out Thursday and return Saturday. Probably would save me a ton of money.

 

I am really going to hang out with board members first and buy a few books second. I know its early but it would help me out greatly if we had an itinerary laid out. Especially if I am still out of a job.

Forum dinner I believe is on Saturday night.

 

I hope to arrive Friday late morning and leave Sunday afternoon.
