Do you guys normally split a room? Do boardies in general split a room. Courtyard seemed pretty cheap for a King or 2 Queens, like $105 a night. Doable by myself but since I'll be there 3 nights, splitting would mean $150 extra for books. hm

Let me put it to you this way.... if I wasnt sharing a room with others, I wouldnt even bother going. I spent a total of about 500 -/+ bucks last year... thats flight, hotel, food, and books. If I went by myself.. I wouldve ended up spending closer to 700-800 bucks and no free drinks from Roy :(

By the way the Courtyard includes full buffet breakfast everyday, so we usually filled up late morning and your only food expense is dinner. I don't think Roy actually made if for breakfast though as it he was hard pressed to get out of bed for noon.

Seriously, i think each year a new forumite should be buying drinks. Danny, it's your turn.

I of course will be there, back for my 31st Chicago Comicon/WizardWorld. Damn, I'm old.

Forum dinner is Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 6PM - until they kick us out. Last year we were slackers and left at 2 AM. Previous three years 4 AM.

BTW, that's going to be a MASSIVE baseball weekend in Chicago:

June 27-28-29: Cubs at White Sox (3:05, TBA, 1:05)
