Congrats on getting so close on the run and nice book!

 

How bad is that gouge under the word "Went" ... does it break through the cover and into some of the pages? Or is it just a tear?

 

Do the what appears to be color-breaking creases that start about 1/3 of the way up from the LLC continue to the bottom of the cover?

 

Depending on the answers it's 3.0 minimum and maybe up to 4.0.

I would say 3.0. Quite a bit of wear on the spine and lower right, and that split spine. Nice center of the cover and overall appearance. Congrats on the acquisition, and good luck with your 3 and 4!

Yeah, that's just a front cover tear and those creases aren't so bad in hand.

 

I'm hoping like hell I can find a decent #3 that isn't at a terribly huge price.

 

I pulled out my #1 again and looked at it and it's actually not as bad as I remembered it.... I guess cause my #2 looks like hell!

It's hard to get #3 in half-way decent shape with that black cover. For my money, it's one of the top 10 SA covers...a true classic!
