Nice page......don't see many from that period of Lim's Surfer series. Great shots of Thanos. Can't wait to see what it goes for.......good luck.

I won this at $250.......insane. The scan on CAF is better than EBAY. I've always wanted a "Surfer page" from Lim's period. I'm still kinda' shaking my head....am I stupid or lucky?

$250 is probaly about market value. I mean, I was considering to bid (at a bit over $250) but held off b/c I've spent alot on art recently.

 

So since there was at least 1 more person wanting to bid, that must b e market value!

I thought about it as well, but since I spent so much recently, I passed. I have SS #56, page 9, so that helped me decide too.

The Lim SS run is undervalued. Trust me, over time, his prices have no where to go but up.

hmm.. I hate to be a naysayer, and I already have a couple of pages but Lim had a LONG run on surfer.. there are lots of pages out there! That's alot of supply that has to be soaked up before prices rise.. if they ever!

True, but the core of the run (34 through the Infinity Gauntlet saga) is where the nostalgia will be. Eventually, these will dry up. We used to see the covers easily available. Where are they now? Can't find 'em.

For the record.....was talking about issues #34 - 50, like heartened mentioned above ..... The Infinity Gauntlet issues, scripted by Jim Starlin. Lim's Surfer pages shows up from time to time but quality pages from this fantastic run seem to be tougher to find....at least to me.
