Sorry to hear about you losing. I don't gamble much but when I do I know when to quit, usually after I win twice as much as what I brought.

at Planet Hollywood Casino and won $1,000!

It all started off when I decided to go out at 10 PM and took $200 to go gambling. I usually play Texas Hold 'Em but didn't have any luck at all last night with that. I ended up losing $100 within the first 20 minutes. I decided to try my luck at roulette and low and behold within a few minutes I got back my $100 that I lost at cards. I kept on playing and hit 2 numbers in a row, each with a bet of $10. When I cashed out my winnings and bought a few rounds of drinks for my friends, I ended up having a little less than $1000 in my pocket, excluding the money I started out with.

I was going to save the money for a rainy day, but ended up paying off a boardee for some Cerebus comics and also purchased this at the Bettie Page store in the Miracle Mile Shops.

This makes my third piece of framed artwork from that store. My Bettie Page collection is growing and I guess so is my sense of adventure, because I asked out one of the women working there. Bettie Page girls :cloud9:

That's awesome. (thumbs u

Congrats.

What happened to the "friend" from the birthday dinner or should I ask?

It's okay to ask. We are planning on going out after the holidays. :gossip:

You rascal. ;)

lol
Did you hook up with her like Warrick did with that murdered stripped on CSI? doh!

I can't believe you said that. :o(tsk)

Nothing wrong with the hook up. (shrug)

I have to pretend to be shocked by something. It's good for my image. ;)

. . . I asked out one of the women working there. Bettie Page girls :cloud9:

Yes, and???

Well there's some interest on her part, but nothing concrete yet.

What do the women who work there wear, TSF?

:D

It would be something that we call clothing in the civilized world. :baiting: Actually they kinda look like this:

I have scored a lot of sweet comics with ill-gotten gaming booty . . .

I have also blown a lot of discretionary funds better spent on comics on ill-fated gaming sessions . . . :sorry:

Damn double edged swords.

When I lived in Vegas I could be found nightly at the Palms poker room.

I would start with $100 and most nights leave with $300-500

I would stay long enough to earn my food comp so I never paid for food. (thumbs u

Either way, I loved living in Vegas and would move back if it weren't for the fact that I can't do what I do now out there...

Were the numbers 17 and 26 ?

No, they were 00 and 30. If this is an inside joke or a joke at all I am completely lost. (shrug)

Nope, no joke. I play alot of Roulette and was wondering if some of your favorite numbers were the same as mine.

Also, I ignore the zero(es). Doesn't exist in my mind.
