I didn't realize somebody else out there had my love for Taskmaster :-)

 

I bid $500 on this second book, but it wasn't enough... I'm still debating increasing my bid, we'll see if I can pull the trigger before the auction closes.

Decent villain but I didn't think he was that special then and I still don't. I have the book but I'd never pay these inflated prices for it. Glad I re-bought it a couple of years ago for $5.

I thought his look and concept were brilliant, and 196 is a great cover and story. They never really handled him well after that though.

Concept was fine. The look was so-so for me. I didn't care for the skull mask I guess. Maybe it was how Perez, who I like alot, drew it.

hi grade avengers issues around this era are all relatively expensive for no other reason than so many people loved them when they were first around, and want to own high grade copies now.
