Seems like a major OA collector/part-time dealer in CA has 1st dibs on all Jean covers esp. anything Fables or Jack of Fables related. Only way you can score a decent painted DC cover or mass media advertising art in pencil is to go through his art portfolio directly at a comicon. That way you get a lot more choice than what is on eBay. His best covers will still wind up on eBay as he does not want to "give it away" for say a mere $1k when it can be auctioned for $5k++ in 1 week. :cloud9:

If we're thinking of the same person, this information is outdated. JJ's work is desired by many, but the previous "cover drought" is now over, and I think you can pick up even a nice cover, if you're fast enough on the trigger.
