OK gang, try these:

DC

end of copper/beginning of modern?

same issue features 2 characters showing of new outfits.

Compared to some of the esoteric issues in this thread, I really thought I was tossing you guys a grapefruit...? The moment this quote is uttered was memorable to me because it's a quasi-comedic break in an other-wise very dramatic time in the story (oops, did that count as a clue?).

If answer is not ascertained soon, I'll throw in a visual.

I had no idea who said the Jell-O line!

Ooops, another win with no question ready.

My 8 am class trumps the Comic Book Quiz -- sorry.

Primo question tomorrow, unless you'd rather have one right now about agostic transition metal alkyl complexes.

Jack

^^

You didn't name the character that said it, but I don't want to drag this out any further.

Take it away selegue (here, to jog your memory):

OK, nobody jumped at the agostic alkyls.

When Walt Kelly parodied Little Orphan Annie in Pogo, exactly what did he call the strip?

(There may be more than one corrrect answer, but I only have one in front of me.)

Li'l Arf and Nonnie

How about letting the question simmer for a few minutes to make it look hard? :D

^^

That was in about 1952 when Pogo was Annie, right?

Was there a slightly different name a few years later when Albert was Annie? That's the volume I can't put my finger on.

Take it away, BZ!

Jack, with his eyes blunked out

It's been a long time since I read the strip. I don't have any memory of when Albert was Annie. (shrug)

I'm running out of questions!

Space Ranger and Cryll were nearly added to a collection of petrified interplanetary lawmen by Darmbua of Saturn. What were the names and planets of the four other lawmen captured by Darmbua?
