I dont think so. Its not noticible in hand - but I can see what you mean from the scan.....

Even though that "5" written in marker is kinda fugly, I don't think it detracts from the technical grade at all, in this range of book. It's no worse (again, technically) than a handwritten date or store stamp. The book might be less attractive to a buyer, but no impact on grade, IMHO.
